This course is a practical introduction to the social scientific skills required to complete a project of research or analysis, a guide to the whole process from scoping your topic to writing a report or dissertation. This is not a course on particular methods, such as statistical methods, although it explains how to make good methodological choices. This course is intended to be an introductory but comprehensive guide to research and analysis from start to finish, through all steps of the project, from choosing the topic to delivering the finished written product. Combined with MESTU 102 and GLOBAL 102.2
